Diagnosis

S. R. Manchester 1979Fossil wood resembling Triplochiton, but with significantly longer vessel elements and axial parenchyma strands. The ends of the parenchyma strands taper gradually to sharp terminations of 10 to 30 degrees, participating in intrusive growth. Storied structure present but not well developed.
