Xandarosaster hessi

Taxonomy
Xandarosaster hessi was named by Blake (1984). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Naturhistorisches Museum Basel, Abteilung Geologie, Holotype M9683. Its type locality is Hauptrogenstein, Bajocian, Reigoldswil, Baselland, which is in a Bajocian shallow subtidal grainstone in the Unterer Hauptraugenstein Formation of Switzerland. It is the type species of Xandarosaster.
