Mesotremaster felli was named by Hess (1972). It is not extant. Its type locality is Echinoderms, Oberer Hauptrogenstein, Late Bajocian, Schinznach, Aargau, which is in a Bajocian open shallow subtidal grainstone/marl in Switzerland.

H Hess 1972Ambulacral pores in four rows. Oral plate large flattened. Adambulacrals with three furrow and three subambulacral compressed spines. First adambulacral cylindrical, weackly orverlaping, bearing a robust spine. External face of body wall plates with ornament of granule-pits.
