D. B. Blake and K. Sturgeon 1995A genus of Astropectinidae with disc comparatively large for family; interbrachial arcs angulary to weakly rounded; arm outline (as viewed from above) broadly triangular, straight-sided, abruptly tapering. Marginals well defined, small, rectangular in dorsal outline; fascioles distinct, deep, not broad. Interbrachial, medial superomarginals clearly smaller than inferomarginals, inset from abradial margin (i.e., inferomarginals forming abradial edge of arm), ossicles of two series dissimilar. Actinal ossicles numerous.
