Abelisaurus comahuensis

Taxonomy
Abelisaurus comahuensis was named by Bonaparte (1984) [Nomen nudum in this paper; ascribed to "Bonaparte and Novas."]. Its type specimen is MC 11098, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cantera de la Pala Mécanica (MPCA), which is in a Campanian/Campanian terrestrial sandstone in the Anacleto Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Abelisaurus.
