Chubutisaurus insignis

Taxonomy
Chubutisaurus insignis was named by del Corro (1975). Its type specimen is MACN 18.222, a set of postcrania, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 10 km east-northeast of Cerro Barcino, which is in an Albian/Cenomanian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Cerro Barcino Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Chubutisaurus.
