Neocricetodon polonicus
Taxonomy
Kowalskia polonica was named by Fahlbusch (1969). It is not extant. Its type specimen is ISZK MF/822/1, a mandible (sin. with i, m1-m3). Its type locality is Podlesice, which is in a MN 14 cave breccia in Poland. It is the type species of Kowalskia, Neocricetodon.
It was recombined as Neocricetodon polonicus by Freudenthal et al. (1998).
