Titanosaurus indicus

Reptilia - Titanosauridae

Taxonomy
Titanosaurus indicus was named by Lydekker (1877). Its type specimen is BMNH R.5934, a set of postcrania, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Bara Simla, Jabalpur, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial limestone/claystone in the Lameta Formation of India.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Le Loeuff (1998); it was considered a nomen dubium by Wilson and Upchurch (2003); it was considered a nomen dubium by Wilson et al. (2009).
