Hypsilophodon foxii

Taxonomy
Hypsilophodon foxii was named by Huxley (1870). Its type specimen is BMNH R.197, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hypsilophodon Bed, Cowleaze Chine, which is in a Barremian terrestrial marl/claystone in the Wessex Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Iguanodon foxii by Owen (1873) and Owen (1874).
