Reptilia - Diplodocidae

Taxonomy
Amphicoelias altus was named by Cope (1877). Its type specimen is AMNH 5764, a set of postcrania, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cope Quarry XII, which is in a Kimmeridgian/Tithonian terrestrial sandstone in the Morrison Formation of Colorado.
