Chamops segnis

Reptilia - Chamopsiidae

Taxonomy
Chamops segnis was named by Marsh (1892). Its type specimen is YUM 1036, a mandible (fragment of left dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lance Creek area (non-specific), which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the Lance Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Chamops.
