Daams and H. de Bruijn 1995Gliridae with brachyodont rectangular molars; somewhat irregular design of the ridges: centrolophs and extra ridges generally narrower than the main ridges; complex dental pattern, with frequcntly 3 or more extra ridges. The endoloph(id) may be present, and the labial ends of the ridges are curved anteriorly in the lower molars.
