Canarium californicum

Taxonomy
Juglans californica was named by Lesquereux (1878). Its type specimen is U.C. Mus. Pal. Paleobot. Ser. plesiotypes nos. 2263, 2264, 2265 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was replaced with Juglans leonis by Knowlton (1919); it was recombined as Canarium californicum by MacGinitie (1941).
