Taxonomy
Cedrela eolancifolia was named by MacGinitie (1941). Its type specimen is U.C. Mus. Pal. Paleobot. Ser. holotype no. 2267. Its type locality is Chalk Bluff Locality 3318, which is in an Eocene floodplain claystone in California.
