Taxonomy
Hexalasma was named by Soshkina (1928) [Sepkoski's age data: P Leon-m P Dora Sepkoski's reference number: 1240]. It is not extant.

It was synonymized subjectively with Pseudocryptophyllum by Hill (1956).

It was assigned to Polycoeliinae by Hill (1981); to Rugosa by Sepkoski (2002); and to Pentaphyllidae by Fedorowski (2009).
