Lissomartus schucherti
Taxonomy
Trigonotarbus schucherti was named by Petrunkevitch (1913). Its type specimen is YPM 169 and is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Mazon Creek (YPM collection), which is in a Westphalian D deltaic mudstone in the Carbondale Formation of Illinois. It is the type species of Lissomartus.
It was recombined as Lissomartus schucherti by Petrunkevitch (1949), Petrunkevitch (1953), Dunlop (1995) and Dunlop et al. (2013).
