Penosphyllum cordatum

Taxonomy
Pterospermites cordatus was named by Manchester (2014). It is not extant. Its type specimen is USNM 4201, a leaf. It is the type species of Penosphyllum.

It was recombined as Penosphyllum cordatum by Hickey (1977).
