Adianthinae is a subfamily. Its type is Adianthus. It is the type subfamily of Adianthidae.

It was assigned to Macraucheniidae by Patterson (1940) and Simpson and Minoprio (1949); and to Adianthidae by Cifelli and Soria (1983).
