Avaceratops lammersi

Reptilia - Ceratopsidae

Taxonomy
Avaceratops lammersi was named by Dodson (1986). Its type specimen is ANSP 15800, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Careless Creek Quarry (CCQ), which is in a Campanian/Campanian channel sandstone in the Judith River Formation of Montana. It is the type species of Avaceratops.

It was corrected as Avaceratops lammersorum by Olshevsky (1991) and Olshevsky (2000).
