Segisaurus halli

Reptilia - Coelophysidae

Taxonomy
Segisaurus halli was named by Camp (1936). Its type specimen is UCMP 32101, a set of postcrania, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Keet Seel, Segi Canyon (UCMP V3308), which is in a Pliensbachian/Toarcian dune sandstone/shale in the Navajo Sandstone Formation of Arizona. It was considered monophyletic by Carrano et al. (2005).

It was considered a nomen dubium by Ostrom (1981).
