Taxonomy
Reynoldsiophyllum nebrascense was named by Upchurch and Dilcher (1990). Its type specimen is 15713-7805A, 7805A" (part and counterpart). Its type locality is Rose Creek Locality, which is in a Cenomanian/Cenomanian fluvial claystone/sandstone in the Dakota Formation of Nebraska.
