Tryphosuchus kinelensis

Taxonomy
Melosaurus kinelensis was named by Vjuschkov (1955). It is not extant. Its type specimen is PIN 272/52, a set of postcrania. Its type locality is Malaya Kinel' locality, PIN 272, which is in an Urzhumian/Severodvinian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Amanakskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Tryphosuchus kinelensis by Gubin (1989) and Schoch and Milner (2000).
