Basutodon ferox

Taxonomy
Basutodon ferox was named by Huene (1932). Its type specimen is NMB R.610, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lerily, which is in a Norian/Rhaetian terrestrial horizon in the Elliot Formation of Lesotho. It is the type species of Basutodon.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Heerden (1979).
