Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
Y. Tong and Y. Tang 1977Compared with Eudinoceras mongoliensis and Eudinoceras kholobochiensis this species is more robust. Upper Incisiva: tusk-like, the basal transverse section is elliptic in shape, near the top it is triangular. Second upper molar: V-shaped angle of the ridge of the metaconus is relatively small, about 30°; metaconus and protoconus are near the lingual side, the protoloph and the anterior wing of the metaconus ridge are nearly rectangular to the vertical axis of the tooth; Inner cingulum long, it passes the basis of protocone and metacone. Lower P3-4: posterior smaller than anterior, V-shaped ridge with small angle, cristid obliqua is degenerated, it is also near the lingual side, the paralophid is week. Third lower molar: cristid obliqua week, extends up to the metaconid, the end is swallen, metalophid and hypolophid strong and nearly straight to the axis of the tooth.
