Cynosaurus suppostus

Taxonomy
Cynosuchus suppostus was named by Owen (1876). Its type specimen is Albany Museum, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sneeuberg Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian terrestrial horizon in South Africa. It is the type species of Cynosaurus, Cynosuchus.

It was recombined as Cynosaurus suppostus by Schmidt (1927) and Hopson and Kitching (1972).
