Byronosaurus jaffei
Taxonomy
Byronosaurus jaffei was named by Norell et al. (2000). Its type specimen is IGM 100/983, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ankylosaur Flats, Ukhaa Tolgod, which is in a Campanian eolian sandstone in the Djadokhta Formation of Mongolia.
