Pamirophyllum was named by Pyzhyanov (1971) [Sepkoski's age data: P l - This appears to be a different Pamirophyllum]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Durhaminidae by Hill (1981); to Stylophyllidae by Roniewicz and Michalík (1998); and to Rugosa by Sepkoski (2002).
