Hexinlusaurus multidens

Taxonomy
Yandusaurus multidens was named by He and Cai (1983). It is not extant. Its type specimen is ZDM T6001. Its type locality is Dashanpu Dinosaur Quarry [lower], which is in a Bajocian/Oxfordian lacustrine sandstone/mudstone in the Shaximiao Formation of China.

It was synonymized subjectively with Yandusaurus honheensis by Sues and Norman (1990); it was synonymized subjectively with Xiaosaurus dashanpensis by Dong (1992); it was recombined as Agilisaurus multidens by Peng (1992), Sues (1997) and Peng et al. (2005); it was synonymized subjectively with Yandusaurus hongheensis by Carpenter (1994); it was recombined as Proyandusaurus multidens by Knoll (1999); it was recombined as Hexinlusaurus multidens by Barrett et al. (2005), Butler et al. (2008), Butler and Sullivan (2009), Butler and Zhao (2009), Carpenter (2010), Zheng et al. (2012), Han et al. (2012), Xing et al. (2014), Alifanov and Saveliev (2014), Herne et al. (2018), Herne et al. (2019), Ibiricu et al. (2019), Cruzado-Caballero et al. (2019), Manitkoon et al. (2023) and Manitkoon et al. (2023).
