Adasaurus mongoliensis

Taxonomy
Adasaurus mongoliensis was named by Barsbold (1983). Its type specimen is IGM 100/20, a set of postcrania (femur), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bugin Tsav [SMPE/SMGE], which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone in the Nemegt Formation of Mongolia. It was considered monophyletic by Currie (2000).
