Asioryctes nemegtensis
Taxonomy
Asioryctes nemegtensis was named by Kielan-Jaworowska (1975). Its type specimen is ZPal MgM-I/56, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nemegt, Southern Monadnocks (PMPE), which is in a Campanian/Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Asioryctes.
