Sloanbaatar mirabilis
Taxonomy
Sloanbaatar mirabilis was named by Kielan-Jaworowska (1969). Its type specimen is ZPal MgM-I/120, a partial skeleton (complete skull associated with both dentaries and fragments of the postcranial skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bayn Dzak, site 2 [PMPE], which is in a Campanian terrestrial sandstone in the Djadokhta Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Sloanbaatar.
