Taxonomy
Zangerlia testudinimorpha was named by Mlynarski (1972). Its type specimen is ZPal MgCh/72 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nemegt, Southern Monadnocks, which is in a Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Barun Goyot Formation of Mongolia.
