Opisthocoelicaudia skarzynskii

Reptilia - Titanosauridae

Taxonomy
Opisthocoelicaudia skarzynskii was named by Borsuk-Bialynicka (1977). Its type specimen is ZPal MgD-I/48, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Altan Ula IV, site 4 [PMPE], which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian terrestrial conglomerate/sandstone in the Nemegt Formation of Mongolia. It was considered monophyletic by Maryanska (2000).
