Archaeotypotherium tinguiriricaense

Taxonomy
Archaeotypotherium tinguiriricaense was named by Croft et al. (2003). Its type specimen is SGOPV 2823, rostrum bearing left and right C1-M3, a maxilla. Its type locality is Tinguiririca Locality Sets 1 & 2, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial volcaniclastic in the Abanico Formation of Chile.
