Lametasaurus indicus

Taxonomy
Lametasaurus indicus was named by Matley (1924). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Carnosaur Bed, Bara Simla, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone in the Lameta Formation of India.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Maryanska (1977); it was considered a nomen dubium by Kohring et al. (1996); it was considered a nomen dubium by Carpenter (2001) and Tykoski and Rowe (2004); it was considered a nomen dubium by D'Emic et al. (2009) and Novas et al. (2010).
