Eppsinycteris anglica
Taxonomy
Adapisorex anglicus was named by Cooper (1932). Its type specimen is NHMUK M13776, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Abbey Wood, which is in a Ypresian marine sandstone in the Blackheath Beds Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Eppsinycteris.
It was recombined as Eppsinycteris anglica by Hooker (1996).
