Ornithomimus tenuis

Taxonomy
Ornithomimus tenuis was named by Marsh (1890). It is not extant. Its type specimen is USNM 5814. Its type locality is Cow Island (USNM 5814), which is in a Campanian/Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Judith River Formation of Montana.

It was recombined as Struthiomimus tenuis by Osborn (1916) and Huene (1927); it was considered a nomen dubium by Russell (1972), Makovicky et al. (2004) and Claessens and Loewen (2016).
