Lavanify miolaka

Taxonomy
Lavanify miolaka was named by Krause et al. (1997). Its type specimen is University of Antananarivo 8653, a tooth (well preserved cheek-tooth), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is MAD96-01 (SUNY), which is in a Maastrichtian channel sandstone in the Maevarano Formation of Madagascar. It is the type species of Lavanify.
