Macluritella uniangulata

Taxonomy
Euomphalus uniangulatus was named by Hall (1847). It is not a trace fossil. It is the type species of Prohelicotoma.

It was recombined as Straparollus uniangulatus by Emmons (1855); it was recombined as Helicotoma uniangulata by Billings (1859), Butts (1926), Butts (1926), Butts (1941), Cloud and Barnes (1948) and Fisher and Hanson (1951); it was recombined as Ophileta uniangulata by Billings (1865), Billings (1865) and Ulrich and Scofield (1897); it was recombined as Helicotoma uniangulatus by Kobayashi (1955); it was recombined as Prohelicotoma uniangulata by Flower (1968) and Fortey and Peel (1990); it was recombined as Macluritella uniangulata by Wagner (1999) and Wagner (2017).
