Taxonomy
Comotherium was named by Prothero (1981). It is not extant. Its type is Comotherium richi.
It was assigned to Paurodontidae by Kielan-Jaworowska et al. (2004); and to Dryolestidae by Prothero (1981) and Rougier et al. (2011).
