Comotherium richi
Taxonomy
Comotherium richi was named by Prothero (1981). Its type specimen is AMNH 101132. Its type locality is Quarry 9, producing layer (AMNH-YPM), which is in a Kimmeridgian/Tithonian terrestrial horizon in the Morrison Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Comotherium.
