Waincophis australis

Taxonomy
Waincophis australis was named by Albino (1987). Its type specimen is MACN-CH 1008. Its type locality is Cañadon Hondo, Bird Clay locality, which is in a Casamayoran lacustrine claystone/tuff in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Waincophis.
