Baiosoma cucullata

Taxonomy
Hippocardia cucullata was named by Hoare et al. (1988). It is not extant. Its type locality is Loc. 7. M-17. Creed bed & banks of Middle Fork of Little Red River, which is in a Serpukhovian offshore grainstone/shale in the Imo Formation of Arkansas.

It was recombined as Baiosoma cucullata by Hoare et al. (2002) and Wagner (2023).
