Allaeochelys magnifica

Taxonomy
Burmemys magnifica was named by Hutchison et al. (2004). Its type specimen is UCMP 61212, a partial shell (left hypoplastron), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP V6204, Pondaung Sandstone, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial sandstone/mudstone in the Pondaung Formation of Myanmar.

It was recombined as Allaeochelys magnifica by Joyce (2014).
