Taxonomy
Meandrostylophyllum vesiculare was named by Roniewicz and Michalík (1991). Its type locality is Smoliacke Hradky Hill, Bobrovcek, W Tatra Mountains, which is in a Rhaetian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Fatra Formation of Slovakia. It is the type species of Meandrostylophyllum.
