R. L. Batten 1995 | Subconical, subfusiform shells. Whorl profile flat to gently convex giving overall shell slightly convex, conical shape. Sutures are sharply defined, but shallow. Periphery is very low on whorl and at lower whorl margin. Whorls embrace at or just below periphery. Base is flatly rounded. Anomphalus. Columellar lip is arcuate and reflexed such that it is thickened into a narrow, convex callus. No ornament other than very fine growth lines. |
