Taxonomy
Meekospira subconica was named by Ulrich and Scofield (1897). It is not extant. Its type locality is Spring Valley, which is in a Richmondian carbonate shale/limestone in the Elgin Formation of Minnesota. It is the type species of Meekospira.
It was recombined as Daidia subconica by Wagner (2023).
