Lecanospira lecanospiroides

Taxonomy
Barnesella lecanospiroides was named by Bridge and Cloud (1947). Its type locality is TF-244, 2.8 miles south 62˚east of Chappell, San Saba County, which is in a Jeffersonian carbonate limestone in the Honeycut Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Barnesella.

It was recombined as Burnesella lecanospiroides by Kobayashi (1955); it was recombined as Lecanospira lecanospiroides by Wagner (1999) and Wagner (2023).
