Gongpoquansaurus mazongshanensis
Taxonomy
Probactrosaurus mazongshanensis was named by Lü (1997). Its type specimen is IVPP V.11333 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is IVPP 9208-21 quarry, Mazongshan, which is in an Albian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Zhonggou Formation of China.
It was considered a nomen dubium by Paul (2008); it was recombined as Gongpoquansaurus mazongshanensis by You et al. (2014), You et al. (2019) and Ji and Zhang (2022).
