Abderospira leblanci was named by Palmer (1947) [DISTRIBUTION: Late Eocene; Gulf Coastal Plain. COMMENTS: m. kosnik taxon no: 6544]. Its type specimen is PRI 20021, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.
